ABOUT ME

Growing up in rural Connecticut there weren't really any shows in an hour radius of me and I didn't even know about "local scenes" or anything other than arena concerts, and with that I never even thought about trying my hand in shooting those shows, but after moving down to the Philadelphia (PA) area I found that there were shows down the road almost every week! The pandemic hit about 7 months after moving to the area but with that I was able to meet some people in the local scene online which was just the start of a whole new life for me. I went to my first local show in April, 2021 which had the local pogo punk legends Blanks 77 headlining in a park near the Jersey shore. After taking some bland shots of the bands in the lineup for the memories I soon after realized how much fun it was to capture these moments that only a few hundred at most get to experience in person. (When referring to local shows in general) Throughout the summer of 2021 I tried my hardest to get to a show every week and damn near did just that. Fast forward to my 18th birthday in September, 2021 I got my first "real" camera, a Canon Rebel T7, which was more than exciting than life itself and I felt as if I could do anything. Well come around to the first show I try and shoot in March, 2022 and it goes horribly and that's all because I didn't do enough research into CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY specifically and went in with super basic knowledge of photography as a whole. Fast forward to June, 2022 I go on YouTube for just under 2 hours looking for concert photography tips before a show that night, and my goodness did it make all the difference. With the results I got I knew that photography was for me.

This site is here to promote and show off photos I've taken from gigs that I've been lucky enough to out to! As an avid music enjoyer, I find myself going to as many shows as I can afford with genres like: Punk, Hardcore, Ska, Folk Punk, Metal, Indie Rock and other likewise genres.
